As part of its ESF Age Management Technical Assistance Project, TAEN commissioned ‘50+ Lives’, a series of video case studies and short films which present the individual experiences of older workers, in their own words.
The objective was to raise awareness and spread information and understanding of the specific issues people face in the labour market as they get older and wish to maintain or extend their working lives.
The case studies focus on three key themes which highlight the effects of extended working lives: Still Working, Seeking Work and Active Ageing. You can view the Still Working case studies here.
TAEN also released a documentary 50+ Lives - Cultural Perspectives which you can see here.
