The seminar was offered as part of TAEN’s own national Age Management Technical Assistance project and was aimed at ESF projects which either specifically or partially target people aged 50+.

The seminar was designed for managerial staff involved in strategy, planning and delivery but also benefited frontline staff working directly with participants. It provided a contextual introduction to the main age and employment issues, including age and the law, and considered how to work more effectively with older client groups.

The content of the session was largely based on the preferences which providers in the region gave in response to our recent 50+ TA Survey.
