TAEN engages with all sorts of organisations concerned with workplace issues and employment. We share good practice ideas around age diversity and age management, giving advice and guidance on such matters. We work with employers, employee groups, unions, bodies like Acas, the CIPD, the Employers Forum on Age and the US-based AARP. We work with specialists on everything from employment law to occupational health and work design.
We can advise on the interventions which address age-related risks for businesses and other organisations. We are willing to share our knowledge in consultancy assignments, the design of surveys, partnership projects and in supporting any of the main stakeholders in organisational change stemming from age and employment issues. We have had experience of developing and trialling tools for workforce assessment.
We collaborate in research with academic bodies in the UK and internationally and share outputs with relevant stakeholders. We value opportunities to increase the visibility of age and demographic change topics to all the key actors in the workplace.
TAEN's objective is to advise impartially, using evidence from respected sources.
TAEN collaborates with the AARP to promote this award in the UK. The award is open to employers in the public, private and voluntary sectors headquartered outside the US, as well as the foreign subsidiaries and operations of US-based companies.
