The Association of Learning Providers represents a wide variety of training organisations, negotiating with government departments such as the Department for Innovation, University and Skills (DIUS), the Department for Children, Schools and Familes (DCSF) and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), amongst others, in providing guidance on national policy on education and training matters. We represent members’ views to the policy-makers when new initiatives are being planned and our strength lies in the banding together of learning providers. We lobby, network and campaign for education and training; and are also engaged in research and publishing.
