Age Concern Islington is an independent charity and company limited by guarantee, established in 1963. We work with and for local older people to provide opportunities and services that support and empower them, to enhance their quality of life. Our acitivities vary over time, responding to need and to the availability of funding or contracts to carry them out. Our employment advice work has recently restarted after a period without funding and we aim each year to support 100 people aged 50+ into meaningful volunteering or employment.
